Convenient Training Schedule for Your Practice: 3 Weekdays & 1 Weekend Day!
All of our training courses are true "hands-on" training sessions. We do not teach with already reconstructed "snap-shots" of what the data should look like rather, all cases are manipulated and reconstructed by the attendee to simulate real world acquisition, reconstruction, and finalization.
All participants will receive 3 certificates: CME Certificate of 40 Category 1 Credits in Cardiac CT, Course Completion Certificate from the course administrator, and a Case Mentored Certificate. (Exceed SCCT/ACC requirements from Live & Library Cases!)
Board Preparation Package
The Board Preparation Package course is a comprehensive review of all aspects of cardiovascular CT principles, methologies, and clinical practice. It is designed to provide the participant with a rigorous and thorough knowledge base in preparation for the Cardiovascular CT Board Examination while attaining Full Level 2 and/or Level 3 Certification. This program curriculum focuses on the "core" knowledge that every Cardiac CT practicioner is expected to know, provided in 2 stages
STAGE 1: Level 1 and 2 Combined Cardiac CT Certification
STAGE 2: Leadership Level 3 Cardiac CT Certification
Stage 1: Level 1 and 2 Eligibility Course
Level 1 & 2 combined programs come in two varieties:
CBCCT Board Exam Guided Curriculum and Standard Interpreter Focused Curriculum.
CBCCT Board Exam Guided
This Level 1 & 2 Combined program is built on a comprehensive review of many aspects of the CBCCT Board Exam Content Outline together with high level Instructors. Through this integration the attendee is able to achieve Level II certification while simultaneously preparing for their Cardiac CT Board Exam with Cases and Didactics directly guided by the CBCCT.
Standard Interpreter Focused
This Level 1 & 2 Combined program is built on a comprehensive review of current applications and cases chosen by our panel of 15 instructors, guided by our 2 medical co-directors. Our Standard Interpreter Focused Curriculum combines a real world approach to cardiac CTA by combining day-to-day CCTA with academia.
Both programs exceed SCCT/ACC standards for credentialing.
Diagnostic Outcomes:
- CCTA’s Diagnostic Power over Other Imaging Modalities in Real World Scenarios
- Over 500 cases correlation with Cath/IVUS, Echo/TEE, MR, SPECT, EP & Surgical
Clinical Outcomes:
- Individually focused case Ala-carte: congenital, cath, EP, etc.
- CTA guided treatments leading to the reality of beneficial or adverse results
Training Outcomes:
- Exceed the ACC/SCCT requirements for Live/Library cases
- Gain a minimum of 40 CME credits
- Your SCCT Level II certification form will be completed at the end of the course
- Become SCCT Board Eligible upon Course Completion

Stage 2: Level 3 Master Course
As defined by the ACC, Level 3 training represents the highest level of exposure/expertise that would enable an individual to serve as a director of an academic CCT section or director of an independent CCT facility or clinic. Upon completing MDIN’s Level 3 training program, the trainee has developed the competence in performing and interpreting special procedures, such as electrophysiologic studies, surgical planning with in-depth knowledge of congenital diseases and anomalies, as well as, cardiac masses seldom seen in mainstream CCTA practices.
By providing a curriculum built on the ideals of the guidelines guided by the CBCCT Board Exam content outline with completely new casese, not a repeated Level 2 program. The first of its kind in the US, all Physician instructors are Level 3 trained and are directors or department heads with practice and administrative expertise in cardiovascular CTA. All cases are advanced in complexity, pathology, and reasoning, and require a higher understanding of the workstation and CT as a modality. Prior Level 2 experience is required to attend. In addition to a more complex case selection you will gain experience in:
